Assent Chemicals Ltd. has been set up viewing the present outstanding demand of Alum mostly in all the water purifying units in the region. It is a well equipped and state of the art chemical plant. It has a broad office room which is connected with a two storied building having several rooms for staffs. The company has also a 'Mandir' near the gate, beautifully made of tiles. The unit has a complete laboratory, panel room, Maintenance store within the factory building. There are four godowns for storing new materials & products.

The main factory building has a wide shed to pour the products on farmers near the digestor and evaporator for the production of ferric alum. It has seven settler tanks and a reactor besides a big acid storage tank.

The main equipments used in the unit are:

• Jaw crusher.

• Pulverizer with dust collector and Hooper

• Digester

• Evaporator

• Sulphuric acid storage tank.

• Alumina hydrate reactor.

• Boiler.

• Water treatment plant with iron removal filer.

• Settler tanks & pH adjustment tanks

• Compressor.

• System for automatic feeling of fuel (rice husk) for boiler.

• Sulphuric acid pumps.

There are three types of products manufactured in the unit. They are as follows:

• Ferric Alum

• Non-Ferric Alum and

• Ammonium Alum.
